You know me, I'm never one to glamorize the NYC lifestyle. This week was rough for me as I'm feeling I'm going through a bit of burnout on all levels. As always we have a bunch of fun though, it's not all depressing :) But in this video I dig deeper into me trying to make my situation better living in new york city. If you're going through something similar my heart goes out to you! Sending good vibes your way. Thank you for watching!!

I miss quarantine too. Life was slower- we cooked and went for walks outside. Also as an introvert people couldn’t invite me to social events. Honestly it was the best I felt in my whole life and I was the healthiest both physically and mentally.

Chelsey! The authenticity! The I’m so glad the YouTube gods led me to your channel! Also Julie was a vibe. And your eye. Place a chamomile tea bag on it my mother would put that on my eye when I had eye inflammation.

I feel many of us found you randomly in these past few weeks. I hope your channel grows so much that you can get sponsors and youtube monies! I center myself with yoga and solving jigsaw puzzles. However, nothing kills the zombie in me except for quitting my job and trying self-employment. But the latter brings many new fears that eventually come true. Or not. I don't think this world is going right for us, the little people. Maybe if we keep connecting some day we will be able to point our fingers at it and change it. Until then, baby steps and little joys - like videos from stranger to stranger :) happy to have found you

As a fellow member of the “my job is taking every speck of my energy” club, you are 100% right that community is ESSENTIAL. Having a group of people (in-person, online, both) that GETS you and loves you and not inky let’s you be authentic but WANTS you to be authentic and honest and real is so important.

Also, that pasta dish at the end your video looks amazing!

Take as much time as you need for yourself, we’ll all be here with open arms when you get back ❤️❤️❤️

Randomly clicked on one of your videos today and somehow just found myself almost two hours later still watching. I'm not moving to NYC or anything like that, but love the true, genuine, real life that comes through in each of your videos. So honest and "normal" that I can relate on so many levels. Life is hard and beautiful and full of ups and downs. Its refreshing to see that so many of us go through the same experiences and struggles and that we're not alone at all 💪

Watching this I couldn't help but chuckle about myself. I used to think the anxiety, exhaustion and disconnect I've felt about everything when I grew up was so unique and therefore mirroring some greek tragedy. When you're in that mindset, that everything somehow is meant to be hard and terrible for you and somehow maybe predestined to never turn good and happy, it can suddenly become frightenedly tempting to let go and unconsciously fulfill that premise for yourself. It's always something to be grateful about when strangers admit that they're struggling too sometimes. It makes that fight feel a little bit less solitary and a lot more communal. So please tend to yourself and take your time. Because that's what we're doing all the time too without having a camera pointed at us. We'll huddle together when you come back.

Omg this is exactly what I needed. Watching someone live an ordinary life while I live my ordinary life. I just went through a breakup and as a late twenty something living with my mom, single, I can’t stand watching people living these super unattainable lives. I just want to watch normal people. 😭

Hi Chelsey! Your video and this algorithm made its way across the world to South Korea where you're helping a 27 year old (me, duh) feel a little less lost in my own feelings. I too love my home and city - despite being so far from family, and I sometimes think that if we weren't asking ourselves these questions that make us question our existence or make us overwhelmed, we'd never grow. I center myself with music and walking my dog, seeing his joy in simply being outside and having me with him, helps ground me. I found these insane colouring books by Kerby Rosanes that my brain relax, too. Hope your next week goes better - you're doing great, living the life you've always wanted to build. I can't wait to see it grow.

Hi Chelsea, That "pimple" you have below the waterline sounds like a stye.
You can get it when the small glands near the eyelid (upper or lower) become blocked. See your dr. They can prescribe treatment.

Just found this channel and it makes me feel so much better. I feel less guilty about my own life, seeing that living like that is absolutely okay

You are awesome and as a therapist I thank you for being real and showing that sometiemes we feel like you and we can power through. I would recommend for you to try to find something spiritual that moves you, it doesnt has to be religious, but spiritual. It can be some sort of club or community and it really does help with mental health and frequenting the same people with the same interest will increase your dopamine levels.

I haven't seen this specific video yet but have seen other videos of yours Chelsea.
As a 33 year old man who has just moved to Sydney and living solo, I can relate to a lot of the mental, personal, and emotional triumphs and struggles you are going through and showing the whole world through your videos.
The winter months are especially harsh for the mind and working from home is both a plus and a minus.
I can especially relate to the sentiment of not finding fulfilment in one's job while not hating it completely, but needing it as a means to survive and fund your personal hobbies and growth pursuits.

Just keep moving and progressing little by little is all we can try to do.
