My concern with the network in general is the high energy profit ratio to run the complex society. I think when we exhaust net energy we're going to use the excess energy to maintain day to day living standards. Something to think about the implications on the power grid stress to maintain the complex society I don't think alternatives will work. We have built it but can it be maintained without fossil fuels??

Unfortunately, BTC is also being pumped by money printing.. asset bubble is a fact in a debt laden economy.. when recession hit, a lot of companies will go bust; this is from bankruptcy and that is destruction of debt, which reduces liquidity.. and thus, risk asset like BTC will also be affected..

Liquidity is the thing that drives price higher, and certain commentators have said the stablecoin marketcap is not increasing (flat)..hence BTC "boring" sideways

Now that there is recession, liquidity will likely become even lower

Fed may ease interest rate but how much of new liquidity would go into BTC.. during recession.. unknown

When covid hit us in 2020, US gov decided to give free money to many ppl .. hence the stock/crypto pump during that time

Maybe US gov will do the same thing to prevent economic implosion?

Gold is a safe haven during recession; but BTC has yet reached that status, although that could change as time goes by
