I tried to make a completely shelf stable cheese burger!

Using only shelf stable products, including tinned/canned burgers, bread, and pickled lettuce, as well as some processed cheese from a mre, we attempt to create an apocalypse Burger. We imagine a situation when the world's coming to an end! Shops are closed, only the preppers are left and relying on their stockpile of preps..in the back of the pamtry we find these shelf dtable prodicts and attempt to create a cheese burger 😆.

Nice concept. Other shelf stable combos I like are BBQ spam with smash and mushy peas. Canned Haggis, canned potatoes and canned carrots. So many shelf stable combos. Some French canned foods are awesome like the MRE's you've eaten. They are widely available in supermarkets. Whole chickens cooked with stew in cans, Duck and goose canned with lentils, Bottled chicken in tomato. The list is endless. When the Zombies hit the French are going to be eating the best (other than the French Zombies).

When I was in the Army in the mid 80's, I would have died for this. We had the earliest version of the US MRE's. They were horrible. That's funny you call gerkins, we call them pickles. There's dill, sweet, bread & butter and gerkins. The little whole ones are gerkins. Lol. Great review, I really enjoyed it. Thanks❤😎

Nice video and a nice idea. The bread is probably a cultural thing. I am from Germany and I prefer it over white bread. The company also makes a tinned whole grain rye bread. That is easier on some people. The rye bread also is in some German EPAs.

My favorite non-MRE shelf stable meal is when I take the single-serving instant mashed potatoes, and mix it with single-serve veggies like corn or green beans, and dump in a pouch of diced chicken, and finally, add some Tabasco and pepper. Delish…

Mate, they use to make canned version of the whole burger. I never tried it, but saw it reviewed. I believe one name for it, was Trekking Burger? Yours looks awesome. I would have used a USMRE flat bread butterflied. That rye, which I have, cute can, is the odd choice.

I literally had same looking bread in my childhood, tasty thing, and heck, i even remember something like this burger at kindergarden, lovely thing, i would eat it more then Macdonalds burger, last time i had one, it was basicly just a bunch of stuff that i could have done better at home.
