@varsitytitan07 Hi, thanks for your question. The main difference is the amount of CPU power used. For example: Instead of instantiating a reverb plugin on every channel of your drum mix you can use a send and have one reverb effecting multiple drum tracks at the same time. With greater CPU power these days you can take freedoms such as using multiple reverbs without draining too much of the power but keep in mind that these effects do consume lots of CPU. Hope this helps.

Hi, great question. Reverbs and Delay effects take up a lot of processing power. If you run multiple reverbs or time based effects in your session, depending on your computers power, it will start to slow down, glitch and become difficult to work with. By using Aux sends you can use the same reverb plugin to affect multiple sound sources. Hope this clears it up. Thanks for watching!

@bigpumpHD Hi, thanks for your suggestion. We'll be taking it into consideration for our next batch of tutorials. We'll send you a link to more vocal production videos which can help you achieve the sound your looking for. Thanks for tuning in!

@ineffect781 Hi, thanks for getting in touch. If you solo the Bus your going to hear all signals routed to that bus. Sounds like you might have the Kick routed to the same bus. Also, are the drum programmed or recorded live? If recorded live what you might be hearing is bleed from the kick into the hi hat mic in which case you can try using a gate to isolate the hi-hat.

Good video but how do you add a delay only on one word?at the end

@ineffect781 Ok, any signal routed to the reverb bus will be heard through the bus when the bus is soloed, even if the kick drum track is muted. If instead you send the signal using Send A for example to the bus, you can mute the kick drum send, and then you will be able to solo the reverb bus without hearing the kick drum. Let us know if this helps.

Hi @YoungStarLove Sounds you possible have some automation in oyur tempo track which is causing it to snap back to same tempo. Open the Tempo track on the top of the Edit page and check to make sure there are no automation points. Let us know if this helps.

This tutorial was simple enough but and I copied it to the "T" on a piano track i had in one of my sessions and it didnt work... i can hear some slight reverb but the delay isnt there at all even after I put the Feedback and mix at 50%

Is there an easier way to get that long echo with a preset besides havin to do all that?

Yo quick question.... When creating an echo or just using a plug in period.... what is the difference between using the sends for effects versus using the Ins and Outs panel? Basically, when should i use the sends and when should i use the Ins and Outs

Can help me out, I create the same deal like so, but when I lower the mute volume instead of the delay keep going on that specific word to keep going as a delay it stops as I mute it down I can’t bring the volume tool up because there’s another word right there

This is so
Confusing !
Can the echo work while you are singing in the microphone ?

Is that doable on Pro Tools First with the pre installed plugins ?

@CDreamZ123 You can do it once and just save the preset so this way all you have to do is load up that preset you made and its ready to go
