I like how in this conspiracy about Easter those people always pretend English is the only language to exist

It would be hilarious if people thousands of years into the future think that 4th of July is to honor Julius Caesar. 😂😂😂😂😂

I think one of the big issues is that, yeah, there were also pagan holidays that happened during the spring. There are only so many days in a year, and holidays have to be on ONE of those days. Seasonal celebrations and holidays are extremely common in all cultures, throughout time, for obvious reasons. But just because a Christian holiday (or a holiday of any religion) happens in the same season as another religion, it doesn't mean they're the same holiday or originate from the same holiday.

We are so far removed from tradition that people accept any explanation of where they came from.

Lets just call it what it is, the death and the resurrection of Christ, because that is what we are celebrating or should celebrate.

Fun fact about Ostara…all the festival lore comes from the uh oh German nationalists trying to give their country lore / roots to inspire further nationalism.

I never understood this argument because the actual content of the Easter celebration is entirely from Christian tradition, in particular the whole, you know, it being a celebration of Christ's resurrection and thus completion of God's plan to pay the debt of our sins. The etymology for the name "Easter" one way or the other is completely irrelevant to its content and context for reasons you described. God bless and keep up the great work!

You know who else breathes oxygen? Pagans.

I appreciate the information here but I don't think it speaks to the point that people are trying to make when they say Easter is pagan. I think a longer form video(which you may have) to better explain the origin of the celebration and comparing that to the origin of the many other symbols and celebrations related to the holiday would be helpful.

"Why do you paint eggs? That's a pagan tradition!!"

"Cause it's fun"

That's really all you need

Thanks for this video… sick and tired of people making that ridiculous claim.

To non English speakers, the name used is Passover, like in Mexico it's called "Pascua", not "easter".
To us Spanish speakers, "easter" is about as alien as "latinx" (which to us sounds like an X rated website for Hispanics)...

Okay Ester bunnies and eggs didn't come from pagan cultures. But it's still mind boggling that you have to try hard to defend and validate such practice when they have nothing to do with anything in Scriptures..

If all the symbols of Easter are pagan, and even the ceremonies are pagan, then how exactly is Easter not a pagan festival?

I had a pastor tell me Easter and Christmas were both repackaged pagan holidays. Luckily, I was able to link him to your video… he hasn’t brought it up since.

This is why Christian churches don’t have no power, because you have this guy telling people that Easter is not pagan, get over it 😂 so sad, people are waking up and knowing the truth, I don’t have to say much more, people who are conscious, understand, Halleluyah 🙌🏾

It is called easter in English and German. The other germanic languages i checked uses a version of pesach. In my language, swedish, it is påsk.

These days we get to see many videos put up to cause confusion to the world; they are all too often put up with ulterior motives to discredit the Catholic Church - major Christian festivities grew up with the Catholic Church, not out of superstitions, but with profound understanding of things in life that would help deepen our Faith and so lead us to loving God more fervently.
Those who point fingers secretly enjoy the spirit of our Catholic festivities, but at the same time they havr to be sour grapes as well since they have nothing of their own to give the sense of real joy to their deviations in faith.
The Catholic Jesus loves celebrations, that's why Catholic services are beautiful.
For those unfamiliar with Catholic ceremonies just watch the many Catholic videos on YouTube - other than those of the likes of clown Mass and others polluted by confused modernist agents. God bless and Happy Easter - we're still in the season.

Even if it was a Pagan holiday-- who cares. We are celebrating Jesus' resurection.
