This happened to a neighbor one time, he survived and ended up installing a red lightbulb on the end of everyones dock that would light up In presence of electricity

The comments some people are leaving are disgusting. This was a human life. Someone's child and brother. He had friends who tried to save him. You think you're invisible online, but you're not. People see what you comment on these random video scrolls. The world is not some meaningless matrix. You matter, and this kid and his family matter. I had a friend who died this way. They were swimming and a house boat had a regular extension cord plugged in at the dock that was frayed hanging in the water. They were swimming with the dogs when one yelped and went under. Kyle immediately went to save the dog and was electrocuted and drowned. Both of them were unfortunately not able to be saved. The other people and dog did make it out. I just don't understand how people don't get concept of water and electricity not mixing.
