Last gen Z16 had some serious reliability and QC problems, worth looking into on the lenovo product forums. Went through 3 or 4 units myself, all defective and crashed randomly

The lack of ports(usb-a/hdmi) killed the first gen and it will probably kill again in this gen. It's is a crime for a thinkpad to only have usb-c.

I have 3 questions:
1. Does the screen go 180 ? or its 135 still ?
2. is this a zen3 or a zen 4 cpu?
3. Any news about the T14 gen 4? (most probably I would get that later this year or by early next year to upgrade my P14s gen 1 AMD)

Great content Andrew. I have watched your video on the Slim Pro 9i 14" and was ready to make a purchase. Turns out they are out of stock in Canada. I am trying to find a plan B option and found the Z16 Gen 1. I am looking at going with the OLED option even though it will cost some battery life. With the OLED option I can get the dedicated RX 6500M 4GB graphics card, which is a closer comparison to the 9i. Would you wait for the Slim Pro 9i 14" to be restocked (maybe 2 months) or go with this Z16 Gen 1. By the way I do typical office work but also do graphic design and photo editing. I don't game or do any video editing. Thanks

warning, to all who wanna buy a ThinkPad especially with AMD CPU，lenovo uses low temperature solder which can cause severe problems after the guarantee is expired(two years later).

Lenovo should simply reuse x1 series form factors then calls them z1*
