Decades after their legendary 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament clash, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso find themselves on opposite ends of life's spectrum. A down-on-his-luck Johnny attempts redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his old rivalry with the now-successful Daniel. This, however, reignites old tensions and ignites a new generation of fighters.

Cobra Kai, created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, is a sequel to the beloved Karate Kid films. Originally a Youtube Red/Premium series, it shifted to Netflix for later seasons. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and takes place roughly between 2017 and 2019.

The show offers a fresh perspective on the "Miyagi-verse" through Johnny's eyes. It explores the consequences of unresolved conflict and the complexities of good versus bad. While Johnny and Daniel remain the central characters, the series also features a talented young cast including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Jacob Bertrand. Familiar faces from the Karate Kid films, like Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith, also return.

I have a theory about miyagi: The Sekai Taikai takes place in Okinawa and miyagi and the grandfather of the guy in the boxing place wanted to go, but you need six people, so they robbed a bank to pay people to go with them and the master was master Kim. What do you guys think

The serie is called Cobra Kai and not Miyagi Do.
It started with Miguel and should end with him but not with Miyagi Do.
I really hope Stingray's vision will come true. That Johnny Lawrence takes back the Dojo (from Silver?) and continue teaching his version of it.
Again this serie is about Johnny Lawrence and his story about Cobra Kai and not Daniel. Period. But I fear we'll just get some "shiney-rainbow happy ending" bs insted.

Theory: Kenny is in contact with silver, and is sabotaging miyagi do and thats why they are coming last. Silver reveals himself and his true colours get exposed and creates a huge brawl with all the dojos involved.

Old footage 😂 well that's all the leaks from 2 weeks ago. I saw a new pic of silver on the set standing there with a couple of guys. So he is back!!! I also believe the pic with Daniel and Johnny outside the W hotel couple be the moment when Johnny is leaving miyagi do and wanna go offensive because Robby got hurt and defensive style isn't enough in the ST!

My theory;
Miguel n Johnny both leave Miyagi Doh and for different reasons;
1) Johnny to retake Cobra Kai n boost his ìncome
2) Miguel leaves to win n boost his academic reputation  for college acceptance plus he could rehookup with Tory.
Plus...the show is called 'Cobra Kai'...🤷‍♂️
3)Miguel, Tory n Devon will rejoin Cobra Kai after she confesses n gives Kenny her place rightfully after her shitty(pun intended) move😂😂

PS I can't stand Sam's character but I like Tory's for Miguel 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We get more NEW Lame overseas antagonists. For A 6 season long show, based on even earlier property- where the Majority of the Tournaments 'Final Mat Villains' have No connection to the _Karate Kid_ Legacy! And our obviously terribly scripted; anti-climactic cannon fodder for Miyagi Dō. When the namesake of the show is _Cobra Kai._

Cheers to the most obvious script implosion since GoT.
