I have been germinating trees for years. We have 2 acres of property that was a bare field 10 years ago. Since then we have stopped mowing a large portion of it and planted a variety of trees as well as field grasses and native plants. Its amazing how diverse the wildlife has become. I save time and money not mowing all of it and the soil is now moist all year. Anyone with property should designate 40% of it for natural space. Its easy to visit other natural ares and introduce plants and seeds into you own natural spaces.

Congratulations! I wish I could go buy forest trees, but Mexico is not produccing trees to reforest any more, so you have to doit by your self and it takes much more time. Thank you for planting trees.

Jānis, thanks for the update. It's good to see brothers working side by side to improve their family's land. Deer are a real problem for us (we live in the forest). Your fence didn't look very tall. Are you sure it's tall enough to stop the deer from hopping over?

You want to plant ib zigzag so they trap the air and sound for best effect but it's fine since you are planting a good amount of them.
