{SOLVED} Crackling Audio/Sound in Dell Inspiron 15 7000

This will probably only be a problem for less than a month because they will probably update the software and fix it. But in the meantime you can just uninstall it to get rid of crackling audio and freezing youtube videos.
(Update, after a Windows update, the software and audio crackling came back. I uninstalled smartbyte again and the crackling is gone again)

Brilliant! I tried to install a generic driver on other advice which also worked but affected the sound quality. Recent update re-installed the original driver and problem came back. Following your advice solved the problem immediately and hopefully permanently - thanks!

Yep! Perfect Solution! Even Tidal was buffering even when I have really fast connection speed. Tried disabling everything to no avail and I have pretty much stop playing computer games because of the crackling. Good to have this finally fixed! Amazing!

Omfg! After uninstalling and reinstalling, updating, disabling, rolling back, re-enabling, braking the computer a couple of times, expending uncountable hours trying to fix it and finally having to live with it for so long that I could hear the crackling even in the sound of my car engine, my dog barking, my wife nagging.
