Always liked Jeff's throw, real neat and compact when he's throwing with confidence. Nice to see him do well.

Jeff Smith take a bow. I know MVG won in the end but Jeff Smith was absolutely brilliant over the whole weekend and probably just ran out of steam in the final against a rampant MVG. The 2 semi finals were so so good and close and both had almost the exact same finish. Both Cross and Jeff Smith had 306 left and then hit 139 then with 167 left, Cross missed the Bull and MVG finished off the 54 but Jeff Smith bloody went and did it. I was so stunned i was in awe of what i just saw. Jeff Smith beat Wright, Aspinall and Humphries alongside winning the North American Championships, the guy deserves huge credit. Before the final he was a beast on Double 18, hitting every attempt and then it deserted him in the final. Thats the type of stuff i love to see though, someone who u wouldnt have given much chance of even making it through to the second day, goes all the way through to the final. Lovely stuff. And of course congrats to MVG he just kept it business like in the final and did what he knew he had to do. I love this tournament and i hope darts becomes a hugely popular in America.
