Can you make a video though of how to make a directed research work to get new ideas for a personal discovery work.

Sometimes when I do try to get ideas on a particular topic, I end up getting distracted into other related topics which I feel have to be considered if I’m to get the right conclusion but it then seems to be too large and gets deeper and deeper, making me just want to quit🤷🏽‍♂️
