training your Belgian Malinois sit and stay

This is how I train my Belgian Malinois flash to sit and stay when we're out on a hike. It's a rainy day today here in Ludlow Pennsylvania but we're out here doing our hike anyway. It always feels really great and gives us a sense of accomplishment when we do this. We try to do this every day but every once in a while we do miss a day.
