Katadyn BeFree Water Filtration System Review | Everything you NEED to know

The Katadyn BeFree Water Filtration System consists of a Hydrapak Softflask, drink nozzle, and a hollow fiber filter in an all-in-one filtration system. It comes in 3 sizes, 0.6L, 1L, and 3L. It can remove 99.99% of protozoa and 99.9999% of bacteria. The filter has an impressive flow rate of 2L per minute and can filter 1,000 liters or 264 gallons during it's lifetime. The BeFree is also super lightweight. the 0.6L weighs 2oz, the 1L weighs 2.3oz, and the 3L weighs just 3.5oz. I absolutely love how compact it is and it doesn't take up much room at all in your pack. I also like the fact that if you know you are hiking, running, or biking near a water source, be it a lake, river, creek, stream, or pond, you can fill up your flask whenever you want rather than have a flask pre-filled causing you to carry more weight.
