I've had my msr guardian for about 2 years now never let me down a bit pricey tho
They look like a good little filter to have in your bag and a bit better on the wallet

I’ve been using a sawyer for years but I’m still cautious about Weils and legionnaires so I still boil or use a steri pen after filtering. So I probably don’t need to filter but you can’t be too careful. Stay safe.

Hi! I'm close to buy katadyn compare to sawyer sqeeze. Just two questions: any different between dark and clear bottles? or just visually? I think sometimes better don't see what you are drinking lol like yellow water etc. How do you know if the life of filter going to end?I hope not going to sick ;) Greetings from Kent Uk. Tom

Sorry I don't get it, Boiled water don't need to be filtered ... ?! unless you are at really high altitude in order to save gaz of course ... anyway thank you for the review :)

Had two of these when they first came out and both leaked from the screw top. This meant that dirty contaminated water ran down onto the mouth. Prefer the MSR guardian water filter kills most things. Expensive but will be the only water filter you will ever need anywhere in the world.
