This is the single most educational cooking video I have ever seen. I learned more in 11 minutes than a year of trying to make curries.

I'm Mexican American, and hardly ever eat Indian food I used this recipe last week. My wife and kids loved it and want me to make it again, looking forward to using more of your recipes thank you brother.

THANK YOU, Chef! We moved to the country in the northern US some years ago. We literally traveled 200 miles for curry that was "so-so" at best. I've tried and failed many times over the years to make a decent curry. Now, tonight, I sit here very happily too full to move because I ate so much curry. Thank you, thank you.

I absolutely love this recipe and have shared it with a lot of my friends. Quick and easy and sooo delicious! I could never get the depth of flavor I wanted when trying to make curries, turns out I wasn't cooking the onions long enough. Thank you so much!!

Been using this masala recipe to make my left-over roast beef curry for about 8 years.
Have the video downloaded for quick reference and just in case the video disappears off YouTube.
I've even used the masala to curry fresh cooked fish.
thanks

I made this restaurant style last night - excellent. I had some heavy cream leftover so I used that instead of creme freche or something like that. My wife really loved it.

I used as much oil as you did in the video - it was more like 4 tablespoons. I'm going to try the other two versions this week - I love green chilis!

Chef Vah, this was the most straightforward educational video on chicken curry I have seen. I've learnt more in 11 minutes than 5 years of cooking. You showed me the basics and how to customize it. I can't thank you enough. Much love <3

my food always has little less salt, but i am a good judge in adding correct amount of salt in one go and camera picks white color against black background and over exposes while adding .
less salt is always better for good health

I am 54 year old man. I could not even make dal ten years ago. I recently started cooking after watching your videos because my wife said "cook it yourself if you want to eat it".
I tried this recipe - it was amazing! It is the first time my family tasted this - my wife and kids LOVED it, especially the 3rd version with coconut milk!
We dont get curry leaves here :( so I made it without it, but with all the other ingredients.
Me, my wife and my kids say a Big Thank You to Vahchef :) :)

i have been making amazing plate licking curries this way for nearly 30 years, credit to this man he knows his craft and despite a vast knowladge, i still learn form these masters, i experiment with flavours all of the time. my finest home made curry is my own recipe. chicken tomato and coriander, served with garlic coriander boboli bread and plain soft boiled fluffy rice.

My humble share here chef. I made this several times before and I took some of the gravy and added it to tinned chickpeas in a frying pan. Added dried chilies, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and balanced the seasoning. The result was absolutely wonderful!

Thank you chef for the basic recipe! Without it I wouldn't have been able to explore.
