Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks a lot for the response on the previous iPhone video! I am glad it resonated with so many people.

I got my iPhone 16 Pro and went straight to the beach yesterday. It was another misty, moody gorgeous Northern California beach day. Such a pleasure to film and edit. Wanted to share this quick edit with you thinking some people would like to see how the footage looks like with some color grading.

Again, I know iPhone is still not there yet. It has a long way to go to replace my professional cameras but, it is pretty good for what it is. I am so happy with the results and I am still learning how to expose it properly with Black Magic Camera app. This time I started with my SanDisk SSD but since I had a lot memory available I just kept on recording internally. So compact yet capable!

Just as a side note. I think Blackmagic Camera app has a bug on stabilization for super wide and telephoto lenses. So, I switched the Image Stabilization off. I am sure there is a firmware update coming up.

I used my regular LeoFoto Tripod and Moment Magnetic tripod holder. It is a genius design. Adding all the gear I used below for people who are interested. I was planning to use my DJI Mic 2 for audio but sadly I dropped it in the Ocean :( It is not working anymore. I had to rely on iPhone 16 Pro mics for the entire video. Finding audio without some wind noise was pretty challenging.

Noticed those same bugs in the Blackmagic app. Haven't had it show up in "cinematic" stabilization. Awesome footage. I'm still trying to figure out where the 16 might fit into my workflow. Could be handy for quick b roll stuff.

Epic video as always. And WHAT?! U broke your dji2mic?!?!? That microphone hunting never ends. And yes I do notice jerking of camera when stabilization is on. I have been shooting in H265 on black magic app but I should try the LT. thanks for the video.

Great cinematography. I just have a bit of a dumb question—how do you achieve the ultra-wide, cinematic look? Is it a setting you use on the iPhone, or is it something you do in post-production?
