Apart from Al Sharpton which I find terribly uninspiring, I'm fond of all the MSNBC hosts, and I find my liking of Chris Matthews the most oblique. He's not the most articulate or the most authoritative, but he has this child-like glee when he talks about politics. He's really passionate and engaged, and his show goes 100 mph.

@harrypotter33191 Same here. I'm a liberal and I watch MSNBC, but I love it when they keep left-wingers honest. Chris Matthews for example, is hardly a liberal (he's a conservative Democrat). Compare this with Fox News - how Roger Ailes told Glenn Beck to stop attacking Republicans on his show because they were a core audience of the network. That'd never happen on MSNBC:

I like Chris Matthews the most on MSNBC because he wont automatically side with the Democrats on every issue. Like when that "Aqua Budda" ad was in Kentucky he grilled the Democratic nominee Jack Conway on it asking him why he would endorse this ad that really had no true facts behind. That's what I want. Even though I am a Democrat and do watch MSNBC, I still want the truth not the right wing bias or the left wing bias. Whatever happened to the unbiased part of journalism being the only part?

You're saying the guy who said he got a thrill up his leg when our president speaks, is unbiased?
