HOW TO DO PARALLEL SLIDES ON INLINE SKATES

Dude this video stopped me from knocking my self out on a tree, I was going fast down a hill onto a flat surface and did this on the flat surface just before I face planted a tree

I am a beginner of inline roller (8th lesson). I live in Paris and I am wondering what are the perfect spots to practice for beginners? I am looking for large or long flat surfaces. It seems to me there is no lots of them in paris.

TBH I wish I had the warning about the parallel slides killing your wheels sooner >.< But everything comes with a price

Hey Tiago thanks for all the videos, I'm a new watcher and someone who wants to start inline skating.
Would you suggest me to buy cheaper skates to use until I feel comfortable on wheels, or would you suggest I buy the full gear right away?
I don't really know how to get in to this and I just want some help.

Ha, yes I see where I've been going wrong, I need to get lower, for a start. I see that these slides were done on a nice smooth surface, would you consider it possible to do a parallel slide on pretty rough tarmac? Depends on speed and angle I guess..
