Cotton Cuts Modern Maker December 2022 *SPOILERS*

For years I've received the Cotton Cuts Java Box, but this year I decided to shake it up and get the Modern Maker box instead. Three, one yard cuts of a modern fabric. Expectations are high!!

I too am a magpie (scrappy to the max) but my tendencies include low volumes (lights) and Darks. I figure worst case scenario & one day I am no longer enamored with my stash (I buy the hard to like colors/patterns) I can still make a ton of quilts using just value. And now I often prefer very high contrast in my piecing.

Great box. I have been so tempted to purchase some of that firefly fabric! I love it, however, I have SO much fabric already… I say “no” to me 🥴🤪. I have lots of low volume already and someday hope to use it!

Hi Holly, you mentioned that the Sew Sampler box did not come with the fabric numbers. It doesn’t come in the same format as the low volume prints but it does come with the pattern in the Sew sampler box where it shows which fabric to us in the pattern. Hope this helps. 🤗
