From date on coins and condition of everything I would guess it was a plant. Something buried maybe 5+ years. The way he is so aggressively handling the machine and the coins then sprinting away with everything open. Possibly dropping stuff in the process like he had to rush out of the area because someone might see him when it’s the middle of winter in a secluded area surrounded by frozen water. What’s the rush?

When he first pulled it out of the ground, i thought that kind of looks like a sewing machine box. I thought maybe the person had nothing else to put his time capsule stuff in. Then when he opened it and it really was a sewing machine, i was double surprized that it really was a sewing machine in there. That was great.😊 Good job.
