The ease of use is a great point that I think many underestimate. In fact, the ease of use is almost seen as a negative; the impression I get is that many devs take pride in learning the "harder" of the two. Your comments echo what I heard from Jeffrey Way of Laracasts years ago. He too said that devs will gravitate to Vue because it's easy. And in every case I think "easy" means that it makes sense, it's intuitive and it's clear.

I was searching for react portfolio website ideas and I found this video! Sooo glad I did! Your channel has excellent content! A few weeks ago, after finishing a frontend technologies course, I had to choose which path I should take (and master). I decided to go with React and vanilla JS(The truth is I didn't know about Vuejs at that moment). I think I have made a good decision, though, 'coz I feel that learning React is also making me a better JS developer. And I also have to say that you somehow remind me of Al Pacino(sorry, I had to say it). Anyway, I am really happy that I found this channel and can't wait to see more videos!!

My $0.02: I first learned VueJS since I found React too challenging to learn. After learning the basics of Vue and improving my basic Javascript skills, I came back to React and and am now grasping what it's trying to do. I feel it's making me a better Javascript developer. I may be wrong, but it appears VueJs has much more syntactical sugar and relies much more on DSL (domain specific language) then REact, which appears to me to rely more on core Javascript techniques. So while I agree with the ease of use being a good indicator of potential popularity and adoption, I worry that VueJS'reliance on DSL will curtail its long term viability.

I’ve used react and it does seem simple at first but it can get pretty complex when using redux. Always had interest in Vue but never got too deep into it. React Native is pretty awesome though.

I've used Vue here and there, and am pretty much getting the same buzz I got when I was using jQuery back in the day. I do acknowledge I'm not using its full capabilities though. The interesting thing about Vue, is that it seems to scale to your expertise.
