Ferrets should not use water bottles as it can damage their teeth; a water crock should be provided. They will spill a water bowl. To clarify, a ferret's cage should not have wire floors as it can permanently damage the nerves in their feet, only the sides and top should be wire.

@fireacdc ferrets can live anywhere from 7 to 15 years..It all depends on how well they are taken care of and if they get any illnesses! They should be let out to play and excerise about 2 hours a day unless your okay with them falling asleep somewhere in the house =)
