I bought one a year ago 1 owner with 100k miles. I did the waterpump thermostat and valve cover gaskets. Put a stage 1 tune on it and it's been a remarkable and reliable vehicle. I surprise many people when I takeoff. With preventative maintenance these vehicles are very fun to own. Draw back is if you need turbos the whole engine has to come out. So I'm preparing myself for that down the road since I'm planning on keeping this car for the unforeseeable future. Wanna make it a stage 3 monster.

These cars are reallyyyy powerful and solid. I have a 2015 s3 which I enjoy, but I want to purchase one of these models and turn it into an awesome little off-roader

Its one of the favorite audis all the way around, im working on install diesel engine and 6speed awd transmission. That solves most of the audi allroad reliability issues. Also mine had been converted to strut/spring set up.

Great car to drive. Not too fun to own. I love mine. I take very good care of it and it takes care of me. Side note. Get rid of the Air Suspension.

What I don't like is the plastic hoses that make up the crank case ventilation system (routed from valve covers, intake manifold, and EGR valve). Look between the back of the engine and the firewall. If they crack you can't just replace one hose. It comes as one complete assembly costing near $200. OMG are you kidding me. I ended up purchasing some shrink tubing that fits over it. Simply slide over the cracked portion of the hose and use a heat gun. It was around $10 for a few feet of it.

I manage 18 around town, and usually in the 24-25 mpg highway with 2.7T 6MT manual transmission…
