If Yamaha can release an enduro line up with a 350 fourstroke and 300 twostroke it'll be game over.

KTM has made dirtbikes not affordable. At least Yamaha is still a great buy for the money!

We need Suzuki to come back too, their 2 strokes are INCREDIBLE

Morgan from Highland Cycles just received a Fantic XE 300 a few days ago. Think he’s letting his sons ride it this weekend to test, since his broken hand is still healing. He’s got 4 or 5 videos on his YouTube channel if you’re interested.

Age 58 and a life long rider I currently own both KTM & Husky. They have been excellent bikes with zero issues however, feel they have priced themselves into a hole. They make great bikes but for the average rider which is about 95% of us they are to expensive. My next purchase will be a Japanese bike

Not a KTM owner but it would be sad to see KTM go down. All us 2 strokes riders owe it to KTM for keeping the 2 stroke alive.

Why wouldn’t Beta move into that spot? Yamaha isn’t coming out with a 300. Beta will move to the top spot. They already have the bikes

I still have a YZ250 2T, love it. But now I have a Beta 300. That’s my go to ride. If Yamaha or Kawi build a 300 2T enduro bike, I’ll be first in line

The big thing here too is you can get so many parts and info. The YZ platform has been around since NAM. That is so huge

I don't care if it's a 250 or 300 what it needs is a true wide ratio transmission Nice low first few gears really helps out. Secondly it needs to retain the Kickstarter no matter what else some of us ride 100 miles from the truck.

Been waiting to upgrade my KDX so hopefully Yamaha can make this a reality, and you know this will ignite a fire under green and red if Yamaha can make the pivot. It would be sweet to get some new 2 smoke offerings from Japan

I have always gone for Yamaha I had 4 Yamaha DT125r s an a YZ 250, I found them more reliable and nicer to ride an work on

I dig my YZ X s and as former MX er turned hare scramble racer now just trail rider, the orange things are ok but my modded X is an outstanding trail bike.

The XE300 is exactly the motorcycle they're talking about.

I already sold my ktm 300 to buy a yz250x last summer and it was a great decision, I have a lot more fun on the yz. It feels more powerful top end although a little less low end grunt. I honestly think more people should be considering the yz250x when they are looking at an enduro/trail bike because they are significantly cheaper, lighter weight, lots of aftermarket options that are relatively inexpensive. With a counter sprocket and the proper jetting it becomes a sweet trail bike even for the rough stuff. I am really tempted to get the gytr flywheel to see if it makes it even better. And for those worried about electric start, there are kits available as well as more being developed currently. I personally dont think it is NECESSARY because the yz starts so easy. Its almost always first kick for me.

This is exactly how Japanese bike became popular in the 1970s and dominated the moto world for 40 years.
