I remember having to deal with a customer who had a seized slide pin which completely wore out the pad down to the metal, and left the rotor all grooved up. He only wanted the one caliper and we had to bring him the pads/rotors to explain he has to do the rest as well or he could go down the street if he wishes.

I was going to replace one side (rotor and pads) because the rebuilt brake caliper froze and burned the left front out. The right side was great. I ended up putting new pads on both wheels, throwing out the right front pad that still had 90% left.

Dont you get 4 pads in the pack to begin with?
I have only changed pads on one side once, and that was due to break line broke and he had changed pads himself like 4 days ago, so i fixed the line and sadly the bads were soaked so i change just one side and gave him the other 2 for spare.

You're really able to lift vehicles that big with that 2 ton pittsburgh? Do you need a block on the saddle or is it high enough? I'm stuck lugging around my 3 ton 80lb daytona because I get vehicles like that sometimes and figured it didn't ja e enough lift height.

If a seized caliper wrecks the pads and rotor, why tf would I replace the other side? Just a way to get more money out of you....men don't pay men to replace brakes
