In this video, we will cover five ideas that I've done in the past for my own campaigns. Especially because we probably have some long months before we get tours and tournaments.

I always liked the idea of having a Viking family that works its way over to India, but manages to keep a longstanding alliance going and assisting each other in their wars. Essentially trying to keep both as two independent kingdoms. I also tried to do a campaign where I had a dynasty which held every single mining province in the game in order to become the Medieval Rothschilds.

I call mine the endless Varangian Adventure. Get a mod called "Varangian Adventures in any Era, " it will still work even if out of date. Either start with Norse culture or Hybridize into it. Build up, do an Varangian Adventure into somewhere new, preferably chaotic, and begin growing again. Expand until you have either a new kingdom and empire. Give the next character you would like to play a duchy on the edge of your land. Release and probably disinherit them so inheriting lands doesn't complicate things. In the pause menu, switch to that character and start the process over again. It give the satisfaction of the expanding into an empire without necessarily destroying everything you build up before.

As a Norwegian i am biased to the Norse so most of my campaigns start with them, I just love the viking fantasy & the possibilities with the varangian adventures & the reach they have without having to conquer the entire map. I also like to handicap myself and play with self imposed restrictions for a challenge.

* Starting as Count Olafr-Brest of Léon(Brittany) - Requirement/limitations -No Swearing fealty or Converting to Christianity. (i had the additional self imposed rule of not converting to any Major faith & to not declare war for land in the British isles/Britannia and to make a Varangian adventure happen(and not Sardinia cuz its everyone's favourite place). Ended up Championing the Basque faith, becoming the only ruler of its faith & creating a kingdom in the gulf of lion (lands between &including the duchy gothia and provence)

* Varangian adventure as the norse while staying duchy size right in the middle of every large realm with hostile faith - My goal was to do the Miklagardrariki achievement without hæsteinn & to do it "properly" & to not have a huge powerbase back home, create a empire and then hold Thessalonika. It was before we could change CoA so i varangian adventured to Krain (Cool CoA) & i made a custom Empire from all Thessalonika - anything south of Byzantium and all of Italia as my dejure empire. I wanted to have an empire with Thessalonika as dejure, which should be part of the requirement imo.

* From Rags to Riches in one lifetime -Kingdom of Mann & the Isles with a twist. Start as a norse count, Attempt to Control as much land as you possibly can while staying duke so that when you do the Elevate the kingdom of mann & the isles you instantly feudalize everything you have. You also go from duke to Emperor in 1 day.
Its quite fun to see the Scandinavian countries-norse & Scotland go from tribal to feudal over night & to Emperor. I did this 2 years ago so im sure i could improve my run a lot compared to then but i was very proud of getting Scotland, Norway, Sweden and 3/4th of Denmark(missed slesvig) instantly feudalized, made into an Empire and Reform the faith by 929AD.

* I also did something similar to the above as Ivar the boneless before they patched his age. he used to be 46 year old and he died really quick. There was a challenge on the pdx forums to Create an Empire with Ivar the boneless with Mann & the isles, Ireland & Scotland. Due to his kids dying he almost always became a drunk & he ofted stressed out n died so it was a race against time. I managed to create one after several times but im not sure how fun this challenge is now that he is 25 years younger.

*Count Tmutarakan - A Jewish Rabbinic Rhadanite count in the empire of Khazaria. The only non Norse start.
Goal is to remain Rabbinic, break free of the Khazar & form Abkhazia (a custom kingdom, historical.or just rename Georgia) & make a custom Empire from Georgia to Israel. (Hybridize with Alan, Georgian or both Abkhazian culture)

Create custom character with Maxed old age with maxed out 100 sons with all Health Boosting Traits and Perks and Learning Focus to get Full of body maxed out Tree. See how long you can manage pop ups of 100 sons dying before your character dies. Also do marry them off and make sure they will have at lest medium chance of kids. Watch the renown skyrocket. Please make it.

All my future campaigns will take place in the Warcraft universe thanks to the Guardians of Azeroth 2 mod! Hope u'll do some content with it eventually =) (it's quite unstable atm thou)

In my current run I'll try and personally hold all gold mines. I've made a stable Mali empire in 3 generations and I'm now moving north towards Sardinia.
I organised my faith to have the megalithic thingy for development. That region sure does need some extra umph in the beginning.
I've hybridised my culture to have mythical ancestors for more renown.

My first play though I made a created character in Norway region, United Norway then converted to Catholic, invaded England then untied England United Scotland and Ireland made Britania empire . Give Norway to my brother .The Muslims from Spain made it to north France and north Italy so I took them on and I did and I won pushed them back to Iberia . After 7 failed crusades I got Jerusalem!! Deus vult!! After that I took Constantinople thankfully the mongols had taken out the Byzantine empire before hand and it was just a bunch of small Hellenic kingdoms . Man what a ride for my first time so many learning curves but was worth it great fun ! I’m on ps5 just found out royal courts coming out in may can’t wait . Going to start in Scandinavia again and leave for Tunisia and found a kingdom there and try make Carthage, hopefully can use the culture fusion with the dlc coming and invade Rome and burn it to the ground !!
