Finished my ultra-nightmare run literally like 3 days ago so I'm gonna enter the DLC as a golden boi! Super pumped, got the game not so long ago and gotta say id really fucking outdid themselves with this one. Can't wait. Hope you have a blast!

BIG NOTE: don't go into it playing nightmare, I beat ultra nightmare in the base campaign, but nightmare in this dlc is a nightmare.

Definitely going in on Nightmare difficulty, and I’m gonna play with tutorials off, it’s cool that Eternal idiot proofed itself but it would’ve been nice to figure out how to fight the DOOM Hunter, The Gladiator, and Other bosses by myself instead of being told outright.

As long as the difficulty can be changed at anytime, then it should be alright.

To confess, I lower the difficulty after I got killed 5 times by Marauder on the first encounter.

I’m not gonna lie when doom eternal first came out I spoiled the game before I could play it which took some fun out of it (but of course it’s still my favorite game). So now I’m on a mission to not spoil DLC for myself but YouTube thumbnails are not helping.

iD/Bethesda removed the DLC from steam, it was $30 and you were able to buy it. I put it on my wishlist, and it doesn't show up.

This is pretty good advice I feel like a lot of people forget that video games are meant just for fun, also If I get to play the dlc I’m torn if I should start it on NM or UV

Dude i was dumb, i played Doom Eternal for the first time after a School exam, so i had about 30 minutes to finish hell on earth before my classes started, so I ended up rushing and losing the first time experience. Now I'm gonna play the DLC all day on the wednesday afternoon, when its free time :)
