Always tune up to pitch, not down. Tune down passed (lower) the note you’re tuning down to (“dropping”) and THEN tune up to the note. Happy playing😊

It’s not the most accurate at times but I use the 7th fret on the low E and match to the A, my dad uses harmonics to tune but I didn’t want to mess with it at the time and that way of tuning just kinda stuck for me, it works though
