How to Program Nissan Altima Key Fob (EASY)

This video demonstrates programming a fob on a Nissan Altima. The process is the same for many other Nissan and INFINITI vehicles with “push-button start”. It is important to note that some “push button start” Nissan/INFINITI use a different process. More on that below.

after 3 fob failures over time with 1 fob left, i changed the battery in my fob because it was weak. after battery was changed it no longer worked. i am getting the run around by tom keys. i was also told that because i have a aftermarket remote, there is nothing they could do. i have been using these keys over 8 years. now it is an issue. they said i was EXTREMELY lucky they worked. that was there last message to me. zero help

I bought the Simple Key Replacement Kit and I’m trying to set it up but I have tried 3 times and have gotten the Error 4 and Error 5 twice. Now it has drained my battery and my car won’t crank. I’m still excited to get this product and hopefully I can get it working properly.

So what does Error Code 4 and Code 5 mean? I have tried a couple times to program the fob(s). The first time I forgot to program the old FOB and the New FOB worked. The second time I got Error 5, the third time I got Error 4. The third both FOBs stopped working. Trial and error, I got the old FOB working (still not sure how I managed. Fourth attempt, neither FOB worked. I was able to get the old FOB working again. I called your customer service number and waited for 30 minutes (the estimate was 14 to 18 minutes).

I'm going to try again when the weather cools a bit. Really wish you guys picked up the phone.

My key fob broke completely but the physical key is the only thing left over , would getting a new one work still? or do i need to go to the dealer ship for it ?
