Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald were probably my favourite Pokemon games, and the generation that I played the most as a kid. The last Pokemon series I watched was probably somewhere in the Johto season, so this was just a little bit after I stopped watching.

This is one of the better theme songs, and it was fairly easy to translate to guitar. Some songs really suit the rock style and this is definitely one of them. I'm a bit worried about some of the later themes, from the Black/White era because they're a bit slow and ballad-y but hopefully I'll be able to figure them out.

Pokemon AG had amazing openings! 4kids nailed the Saturday morning theme song every time. I recently subbed and have been listening to every cover of series I watched and still enjoy, good stuff man!

Advanced challenge is in my top five favourite pokemon openings, and honestly? I think I prefer your version to the original.
You manage to magnify everything that I loved about the original, while minimising a fair bit of what I didn't care for and it is amazing. Thank you for making this wonderful cover.

My very first episode of the Pokemon anime was the episode when May's Torchic evolved. The show was airing on the KidsWB channel and this song was the opening! This song will always be special for me! :)
