This thing has a ton of viability in builds, have you tried it yet?

If I got some of the functionality wrong I’ll update it here, but it was quite difficult to see what exactly was going on with all the chain reaction explosions clouding everything. 😅

You actually don't need to finish campaign to get the tessellation catty. Just pick it up in tower

You can also use arc grenade with getaway artist and the stasis turret will spawn upon eating the grenade, which also works somewhat well with the fusion rifle. But I find vortex grenade better with devour and hellion.

Just a psa Song of flame super instantly regenerates your grenade while active and it also works with tesselation once your grenade is consumed you get infinite shots with tesselation while using song of flame

Tbh I can’t help but think this weapon would be far more useful if it was in the primary slot. As is I can’t imagine using my exotic slot on this with so much great competition. At least in the primary slot it’ll be unique as one of, if not the only, “elemental” kinetic weapon

This was my favourite weapon before tfs I still love it I just can't justify useing it with the call plus a ability heavy warlock build can't even fit tessellation into my damage rotation anymore :(

Just had a thought..

Tessellation with getaway artist, Helion and devour: consume made for arc buddy, get nade back quickly and proc devour, tessellation eats nade, then go crazy.

If you pair this with star eater nova you can hit the enemy with a charged void shot from Tess, then hit the enemy with an arcane needle, throw your nova. You gettin big dmg as a result of weaken

Swap rain of fire for Osmiomancy. There’s a mod this season that gives you radiant from orb pick up

I don't think the amplified on arc is coming from tessellation in my experience the prismatic warlock at the least (I have yet to try it on other classes) has the same thing as arc where rapid arc kills give amplified. Maybe worth a test on a different subclass but I don't think it would because it only says applies debuffs and not buffs.

Arc: It applies jolt. Amplified is built in to arc damage. Rapid Arc Final blows grants amplified. Hence you can get it with any rapid arc weapon on Prismatic. Tessellation is no exception.
