We will show you how a minimalist couple packs our carry-on only bags for full-time travel.

Every item counts when you travel full-time and have a limited space to take everything you need. In the long run, flying with only carry-ons saves money and time. When we land in a new city, backpacks help keep our hands free and allow us to navigate with ease. We will show you everything that is in our bags and share some tips and tricks along the way.

This may not be our typical type of video but as we said, if it didn't happen now, it was never going to happen. Hope you enjoy!

One tip for you: ditch the liquid detergent and get some Earth Breeze laundry sheets. They are 4x5 tissue-type sheets that take up very minimal room, dissolve in water and do a great job of cleaning. One small sheet does a large load of laundry, so if you are hand washing in a sink, you can cut a small portion from the sheet and save the rest. Lighter weight & no worry about liquids at the airport.

Finally another woman with a bag obsession! I swear I never meet any other women that carry multiple bags in a bag while traveling

Solid shampoo & soap in Matador flat pak soap containers - don't leak & let bars dry=miraculous! Laundry detergent sheets, solid sunscreen, solid moisturizer, solid bug repellant... ditch all the liquids!! After a year in AirBNB's I wish the hosts spent more on one thing... decent Can you relate??😀

I once did over two weeks across France and Germany with just a personal item and it was possible because of carrying detergent! Just a tiny container for me but it meant i could take a day about halfway through the trip, wash everything one evening, and leave it on radiators overnight to dry and i was all set to go again!

Nice review!! Those 2 bags look fantastic and I actually have the Porter 46, but none of those (even the Farpoint 40 is too big) are carry-on size when traveling around Europe and in many low-cost airlines worldwide. So, those are good backpacks but I have found out that anything over 30-35 liters has to be checked when traveling on the cheap in short or regional flights and low-cost airlines. The older model of the Osprey Porter 30 (bigger than the newer model) is my choice now and I have not had any problems so far.

You validated my desire to take a “kitchen “ on my 4 month backpacking trip to Europe. The ability to cook makes me feel more secure as I don’t want to be dependent upon restaurants.

You guys are the most honest people I’ve watched showing exactly what’s in your packs. Thank you and I have the same Osprey pack and love it too 👍

We use the same bags, just the smaller options - the Peak Design 30L that expands is awesome, and my husband loves the Osprey Porter us they're enough space since we're usually only traveling up to 2 months, not for months at a time!

You guys are so likeable! I always watch twice the speed but I just didn't want to with your video. Safe travels to you two!

I enjoyed your video. So Unique, I've watched many of these and yours is currently my fave. Though you are a couple, everything in your individual backpacks is accustomed to you. I felt like I got to know a bit of who you are as individuals - one things for sure you two sure do love food! That's the part that sold me to subscribe to your channel. Enjoy the world and thank you for sharing your adventures.

Loved this packing video! Travel towels are nice but hamam towels or Turkish towels (they're the same thing) are much more comfortable to use and also pack small – I'd recommend opting for that if you use your towel frequently and want something that feels nice haha.

Great video. I'm a BIG FAN of Peak Designs too although after a strap failure (broke at the pivot point by the shoulder) I often use either my Pakt Backpack or my Minaal 3.0. Truth be told they're ALL awesome bags. The Peak Design Wash Pouch (small one actually) is my Go To as my "Dopp Kit". My suggestion would be to migrate away from the cotton t-shirts and go with Merino Wool products. They won't smell as much after multiple uses and maintain warming properties even if wet as opposed to cotton. I now only travel with merino wool t-shirts and socks if I can.

I guess that this is only relevant to certain countries or airlines as certainly here in the UK there is no way that you would be allowed bags that size as carry on with most airlines sadly.

We must have one of the smallest allowances in the world for these and they have got smaller over the last few years.

It is good to see what people do carry though.
