In this video I want to help you understand the difference between WILL, WOULD and WOULD HAVE BEEN.

Many of my students have problems with this and I want to show you step by step the differences between WILL, WOULD and WOULD HAVE been.

A simple way to explain it is that WILL is something real, WOULD is usually a prediction of a future event.

WOULD HAVE been is the third conditional and this is when we imagine different possibilities about a past event.

We cannot change the past but we use WOULD HAVE BEEN to imagine different possible events in the past.

That's a great explanation. But in another video, it was explained quite differently as:

You are at a friend's house, and she says will go out for a walk, and then you say, ohh, I'd love to, but I am wearing heels, so I can't. Then, the other one says, "What's your shoe size, you reply as 7, then she says, " oh, I would've given you my extra one, but I don't think they'll fit yiu..

Please explain the doubt here
