Woman keys Tesla in act of vandalism caught on camera

A mother and son came back to their car after a doctor’s appointment in Mission Valley and found deep scratches on the driver-side door. The brazen act of vandalism was recorded by cameras on the victim’s car.

“She like goes into her trunk and she like gets her key out, and you can see, she comes around and that’s when she keys the car,” said the victim’s son, who didn’t want to be identified by name.

The 2019 Tesla Model 3 was in a parking garage at the Kaiser Medical Center off Vandever Avenue while they were at a medical appointment.

“We come out and we see the scratch on the whole side of the car and we were like, ‘What happened?’ I immediately noticed it from like far away and I knew that wasn’t there before,” said the victim’s son. “I immediately got into the car and checked the dash cam and that’s when I went over all the video.

The driver-side camera recorded the whole incident and he couldn’t believe it.

She seems quite comfortable and skilled with her keys. I bet you this is not the first time, and that she has been doing crimes like these for a long time.

Notice how good she is at it. Walks very casually as if nothing is going on, you can’t tell what she is doing unless you are right beside her. She is an expert keyer, lots of practice.

Why withhold her information and block out her license plate? As for the victims… Since they have the woman’s name, address, and video evidence, they don’t have to wait and hope an inept police department will do their job. They can sue her for the damages in small claims court, and since it was done with a part of her car, place a claim with her car liability insurance. These are both things that can easily be done without a lawyer.
