If you didn't already know, this was the first ever movie to be given a PG-13 rating. All because of Spielberg's crazy mind that gave us the PG rated Gremlins and Indiana Jones

I remember being in the video store around 86 or 87. I picked the video out even though i was under 13. My mother walked up to the clerk and asked if there is any nudity in it? The clerk look at me and said said, no, but alot of killing. She said, ok, thats fine.

Watched it for like the 2nd time ever with my mom tonight as a teen when this came out we were both suprised she hadn't seen it. Enjoyed seeing the whole cast so early in there respective careers sheen swayze howell grey and thompson. Darren dalton was one of so many actors we wonder why they never became bigger he's great here and in the outsiders. Also familiar faces like ben johnson william smith and dean stanton pop up. John milius directed this i have watched many interviews with him very interesting guu who I'm a fan of. I remembered it being pretty gritty, but i forgot how many of them didn't survive at the end. i know this is a love it or hate it film i personally love it.

Funny yet they disguised themselves as commercial airlines but wouldn't someone get a little suspicious on why 400 Aeroflot planes are requesting to land at LAX that are not scheduled? And can't carry tanks on any commercial plane lol but great movie !

Interestingly, "Wolverine" was actually a real concept. It was called "Werwolf" by Germans. Near the end of WWII, it was developed by german high staff. They buried ammo and weapons in Germany at different places. The plan was to activate an underground resistance after the russian invasion.

I remember the first time I watched this movie. It was Christmas day. I got it on DVD as a present. I was sitting on the end of my bed in my room, wearing a German army coat I'd also gotten that morning. One of my best memories.
