Carl Jung’s Influence: Explore the profound impact of Carl Jung’s work on psychology and human understanding.

Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious: Jung introduced the concept of archetypes—universal symbols and themes that shape our experiences. The collective unconscious, a reservoir of shared human experiences, plays a crucial role in this framework.

Shadow Work: Jung emphasized the importance of confronting our inner shadows—the hidden, darker aspects of ourselves. Integrating these shadows leads to personal growth.

Individuation: Jung believed in the process of individuation, where individuals strive for self-awareness, wholeness, and alignment with their true selves.
Remember, this is just a brief overview. If you’re curious, I recommend exploring more of Jordan B. Peterson’s content on this fascinating topic! 🌟🧠

I wasn’t planning on commenting, but maybe someone here needs this. Sometimes, without even realizing it, we carry these quiet feelings around for so long that they start to feel normal—the restlessness, the sense that something’s just off under the surface. I went years like that, caught in my own head, repeating the same thoughts, the same patterns, not even knowing what I was chasing. I tried all the usual stuff—self-help books, mindset hacks—but it always felt like I was skimming the surface, never quite reaching that deeper place where the real shifts happen. Then I came across The Hidden Jung Files by Elena Graves. I wasn’t even looking for it, honestly, but it came into my life at the right time. It didn’t tell me what to do or offer quick fixes; it just helped me understand myself in a way I never had before. Helped me see the hidden threads that were weaving my life together, some of which I didn’t even know were there. I’m still figuring things out and aren’t we all?? hahah, but this book helped me start listening to the parts of myself I had ignored for too long. If this resonates at all, maybe it’ll meet you where you are too.

Don't take it literally. It's a metaphor. Sigmund Freud believed in the existence of "ghosts", as in things such as trauma, memories, inherited traits, that control us on an unconscious level. However, what Jung's theories imply is that these same things not just influence us, but define our entire being on a far larger scale. That awareness of how little we are in control/aware of ourselves frightens people, and that's why he is saying people don't like Jung's theories.

Love Jung... From what I've heard out of Peterson, he doesn't get Jung.

Went years since the age of 6 looking for someone who saw the same as me or is on the trail because of harsh people in my life including family. I’ve been reading the red book once in a while since I’ve gotten it 2 years ago and it seems everytime I’ve opened it the next chapter gave me a story or scenario with something I was wrestling with in that moment. I go on to say most are moving too much with dead ideas and using language as a scaffolding for power out of fear and if your not in that club you resonate deeply with a Jung or J krishnamerti and even someone like Huxley. There’s many styles to living but there is one heart to man.

I think Jung ideas are very clear and terrifying to the EGO

Sometimes the most unexpected things end up reaching us in ways we didn’t know we needed—like a quiet reminder that there’s more to explore beneath the surface. I wasn’t searching for anything in particular, just going through the motions, feeling a little off, like something inside me was trying to get my attention. When I came across The Hidden Jung Files by Elena Graves, I didn’t expect much, but it ended up being the gentle nudge I needed to start looking inward again. It helped me notice the patterns I’d been blind to, the parts of myself I’d been avoiding, and offered a quiet kind of clarity. If you’ve been feeling a little out of step with yourself too, maybe this will be that same quiet reminder for you.

Jung was clear that they had the power we give them, saying that they are our own creations. A great mind and only open minded people love him.

I understand this.
Jung brings me the demons.
Just enough to teach me but as a grown man I wake up in fear.
Questioning my beliefs.
But still I go on.

It is a great spiritual battle that we find ourselves in. Yet many will not easily face these challenging facts, nor do the training and work necessary to survive and overcome in these battles

I really wish Jordan understood Jung. Please watch interviews by Marie Louise Von Franz if you’d like to know more about Jung.

I believe Jung ended on a crafty anniversary date. 6/6 suspiciously because he addressed terrifying truths.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how easy it is to get swept up in life—to focus on what’s next, what needs fixing, what’s expected—without pausing to ask how am I, really? For the longest time, I didn’t even notice how disconnected I’d become from myself, until one day I couldn’t ignore it anymore. That’s when I found The Hidden Jung Files by Elena Graves. It wasn’t the kind of book that promises to change your life overnight—it was softer than that, more honest. It helped me sit with the questions I’d been too busy to ask and gave me space to reconnect with parts of myself I’d long overlooked. If you’re feeling that same quiet tug for something deeper, I hope it finds you too.

Not sure if this will land with anyone, but I feel like writing it anyway. Sometimes life feels like one big loop—same thoughts, same emotions, like I’m walking the same path no matter how hard I try to step off. I spent a long time in that space, brushing it off as just part of life. But it gnawed at me—that sense that I wasn’t really seeing the full picture of who I am, that there were blind spots I couldn’t uncover on my own. I didn’t think a book would make much of a difference. I’d read dozens that felt more like bandaids than real healing. But when I came across The Hidden Jung Files by Elena Graves, something about it felt different. It wasn’t trying to solve me, it was just holding up a mirror in a way I could finally see. Helped me notice the threads I’d been following unconsciously for years. I don’t know if this will speak to anyone else, but if you’ve been feeling like you’re circling the same questions, maybe this will help you start seeing things a little clearer too.
