Connecting Our Two Shipping Containers!

In this episode, we connected our two shipping containers! We started this process by welding angle iron onto each container and then connected 2x6's to them. I'm a carpenter so I could really pick this apart lol but you guys should have used pressure treated lumber cause the kind you used is going to warp, bend and twist soon. Also make sure to use galvanized screws/nails so they don't rust. Just a few tips, if you have any questions I'll be glad to help

Floor looks great just a tiny bit of advice for you put the insulation in now before you put down the subfloor cause the less amount of time under the house is so much better for you I know that advice sucks but I'm a general contractor and I built probably close to 200 homes and 15 high rise buildings believe me being under there with tools

You should use those walls you cut out, as a lil skirt for your containers. It'll keep the rats out, and keep your containers cooler. Just cut small louvres at the tops of a couple for ventilation.
