Want to help with tools and building supplies?

In this episode, we connected our two shipping containers! We started this process by welding angle iron onto each container and then connected 2x6's to them. We still have to bridge the lumber but we can finally walk across the containers! Don't forget to like and SUBSCRIBE so you can follow us on our journey:)

Looking at these old videos and where you guys are now is just crazy. I've seen all your videos from beginning to current but my god just seeing this old one on my feed and re watching it is just nuts. I don't blame ya for almost crying kenzie when you two get little things back like water and power etc.

It’s unbelievable that this was where you were 2 years ago and that the outside of your home is now complete.

I'm a carpenter so I could really pick this apart lol but you guys should have used pressure treated lumber cause the kind you used is going to warp, bend and twist soon. Also make sure to use galvanized screws/nails so they don't rust. Just a few tips, if you have any questions I'll be glad to help

My husband and I live on a big farm as well and we just discovered y'all. I'm excited to see your finished project. You two seem like the perfect couple. Your great sense of humor and just overall good attitude is enjoyable and entertaining at the same time. Glad we stumbled onto your channel.

I've been watching since the beginning and love seeing the growth. I'm ready for y'all to be done so you can be in complete comfort but I also love seeing all of the devotion and hard work y'all are doing. Good for the soul. Keep it up!

I have to hand it to you guys..I was getting really depressed because I was working on my backyard project and it seemed like it was never going to happen but watching you guys keep working a long hard road ahead it gives me more motivation to keep trying...thanks

*It does all the graphics one would need to display an idea to a container home lover. **containar.homes** Easy. Effective. Must have. I especially enjoyed the auto-roofing option. It made a long story short, and did it with amazing lines.*

Its refreshing to see a couple working together and having a good time in the process.
Hats off to the lady for being willing AND able, and yes, Spencer is a VERY lucky man.
Thanks for sharing your journey.

Great work. Did a very similar home here in NZ about 10 years ago. Loved them and lived in them for 5 years with the kids. Good luck and am enjoying your work.

Floor looks great just a tiny bit of advice for you put the insulation in now before you put down the subfloor cause the less amount of time under the house is so much better for you I know that advice sucks but I'm a general contractor and I built probably close to 200 homes and 15 high rise buildings believe me being under there with tools

What’s cool is that your kids can watch these vids and see start to finish...they’ll see first hand that if you want something bad enough you can do anything!!! Amazing to watch this unfold✌️

You should use those walls you cut out, as a lil skirt for your containers. It'll keep the rats out, and keep your containers cooler. Just cut small louvres at the tops of a couple for ventilation.
