The inner wires of a hair dryer power cord sometimes break due to fatigue caused by repeated bending stresses during use or due to a strong bending stress caused by the tight coiling of the cord for storage, which may lead to the incident shown in the reenactment video. When a hair dryer shows the symptom of no power after turning on the power switch or the fluctuation in temperature or strength of air from it, it shouldn't be used.
