I Never Expected To Come To The Philippines! But here I am in the new year in a new country. I have heard so much about the Philippines, but it was always a dream to make it here. ✈️

Because of my Azerbaijanian passport, it is hard to get a visa to the Philippines compared to other countries I travel to frequently. I had to collect documents, go to the embassy, apply for the visa, wait for the visa for two weeks, and finally, I could pick up my passport with a valid visa. Finally, I am here and so excited to experience and explore the country in the next few weeks! 🇵🇭❤️

Davud, “kuya” is a Filipino way of a respectful way of addressing an older brother, while “ate” is for an older sister.
But you can also use kuya or ate when addressing other people who you don’t know.
Have a safe and pleasant exploration of our country.

I didn't expect to see you vlogging here in our country, Davud. I've been watching your vlogs in Bangladesh and I enjoyed most of it. Suggestions of places to go, if you're still in Manila, go to BGC, Ayala Avenue, McKinley Hill for the modern Manila. If you want like historic place, go to Binondo Chinatown (it is the oldest Chinatown in the world) and Intramuros. If you want like the local experience, go to Tondo, Manila. It is considered a slum area but I've seen a lot of vlogs there and they have a street food stall that you can try.

For the Islands, Go to Palawan (Elnido, Port Borton, Coron and Balabac), Siargao (It is famous for its surfing spots - lot of backpackers and tourist), Boracay (though it is very commercialized islands, but it is still one of the most beautiful beaches and well developed in the Philippines. It has a great night life too - very touristy.) Bohol, Moalboal Cebu, Siquijor (probably one of the most underrated islands in the Philippines), Camiguin (same with Siquijor, but this place have a lots of volcanoes than towns.)

But if you want a less touristy, not yet explored and discovered islands and beaches, there's a lot of it in the Philippines to choose from, all you have to do is research about the place. I hope you a safe and happy journey, Davud! Welcome to the Philippines.
