Dont have that problem here in southern Arizona. However, I can see that adding another thing to my list . Sure glad I dont deal with that cold.. to warmer days my friend.

I had no idea that city folk would even get out your way - let alone enter your property. I could imagine it happening on a farm or ranch near an urban area, but not out your way.
BTW - that's real winter you have there. And you are out in it working. City folk in their centrally heated city apartments just don't understand what lies behind the food on their plate. Your working day is often harder than ANY working day of many of the city folk you feed.

My dad taught us never to lay the wire gates down at anytime! summer or winter. Also to close it as soon as you go through it.

Also the boneheads that just drop the gate and drive over the wires burns my backside! Would just once like the wires to wrap on their driveshaft😂
