DeepL GUI vs Google Cloud Translation Hub Faceoff - Germling.com

Google just released its Cloud Translation Hub, a simple "no-CAT" translation environment that allows admins to add linguistic assets such as TMs and glossaries and end users to drag & drop translation files.

This is a lot simpler for some use cases than using a CAT tool and continues a trend we also see with DeepL's enterprise offering.

In this screencast, I'm comparing the raw, non-customized output and usability of both tools.

The short answer is that while MT output quality is comparable, MT doesn't work well for all text types and language combinations. Customization options like glossary injection and in-app post-editing will make this tool a viable contender in the l10n software space.

Hi, I'm an Italian colleague and I'm using deepL too. Could you please help me with the configuration of Translation Hub. I have a lot of reviews on google and would like to collaborate for German.Looks like your site form isn't working. Thanks
