How to fix This Copy of Windows is not genuine on Windows 7, 100% working

This is a 100% working method to fix this error.

The error occurs because either you are not running a genuine copy of Windows or your license got expired, there is also a chance that a windows update can cause this problem.
In all these three cases you get an error at the computer start-up that Windows is not genuine, and also computer background changed to a black screen.

Steps to Fix This Copy Of Windows Is Not Genuine -

1. Go to Start and search for "cmd", right-click on it and select "Run as administrator".
2. Type SLMGR -REARM and then hit Enter.
3. Restart your computer.

can someone help? Ive used this several times and it worked but it just keeps coming back. This is my 3rd attempt today but it says that i have exceeded my maximum attept to rearm the computer...Now i have to reinstall OS (which i dont have)...is this a big problem? do i even have to fix this error?

Had my machine for YEARS, and my copy is GENUINE. And all fo a sudden windows just out of random decides so erase my desktop background to black, and with that nasty mesage saying my copy is somehow not genuine! This is ridiculous. Moreover, I had soem sort of update that ruined my Windows 7 bootup registry. Seems like Microsoft is hellbent to destroy Windows 7 on all machines by whatever means possible, to force people switch to they disgusting Windows 11, full of adware, trackers, forcing you to register Microsoft Account and has garbage setting that doesnt have even basic stuff Windows XP had! They even renamed "My Computer" into "This Computer" - in other words they trying to tell you that now your computer belong to them. This is nasty.

So I did this and restarted my PC. I have yet to see the windows is not genuine message and my desktop background is the same. if you get an error message just right-click the cmd on search and hit 'run as administrator, ' then continue as shown in the video

It said that is was not recognized, but I found an easy solution. Down in my basement I had an old torn apart hp pavilion which had been running windows 7, I just used the product key on it and it worked fine on my Toshiba satellite.

I have Auto Update turned off in my Control Panel, but I keep getting this message :
