The itsy-bitsy spider crawled up Coyotes face. Down came the sweat and washed the spiders away. Up came a man that collected them all again and now the itsy-bitsy spiders are all safely put at bay.

Those are my absolute favorite spider, would 100% try if I didn't have almost a meter of thick hair for them to get lost in. We lost my friend's strangely affectionate corn snake in there once, these orb weavers would turn my head into a luxury apartment building. However, when i was little, i used to carry them around on my shoulder and hope they'd weave me jewelry (we had a holiday story about spiders decorating a Christmas tree, so i suppose 6yr old me was like "they'll TOTALLY make me a necklace, and not be the reason i can't make friends")
This hits me square in my childhood fascination with spiders. Also, if im not mistaken, these are Japanese orb weavers aka jorogumo, which have fascinating folk lore. I have a silk painting of one of these from Japan that i just remembered. They're wild little critters

This spider is not harmful.. it has a venom but that is super low just like ant bite
