Hey Levy, between a lot of mockery and funny comments, I hope you see this: losing is hard, not doing good in something you like to do is bad, but there is ALWAYS a comeback. im sure you cant see it rn and no one would I guess, but this is the start of something great. Im sorry you are playing badly and frustrated and I hope you can learn a lot from it and PLEASE KEEP GOING! Im rooting for you man!

It's ok to have a bad game it's ok to have a bad tournament
It's ok to lose a game, it's ok to lose a tournament. What isn't ok is to give up. And I appreciate that you are not giving up. Glad to be a part of witnessing this long but rewarding journey. You got this Levy. 🔜GM

if I had a dollar for every time Levy has used GM in his titles, I'd have enough money to just bribe FIDE to give him GM 😭

Don't worry Levi, we can ignore the period so your .5/5 just becomes 5/5

This is just how the climb is: Two steps forward, one step backwards, only to repeat this again later. Progress is not a linear line.

Man, Levy doesn't need a GM coach, the man needs a sports psychologist.

Arturs was devastated when Rf1 was played. He is definitely the right coach for you. He’s definitely invested in your success. That’s why you will succeed in the long run.

The road to GM wouldn't be complete without being extremely humbled.

I don't like this title. It's not a joke. You're inspiring people like myself to try new things and take chances. I respect that you're trying your hardest and being transparent with your struggles. It's admirable!

Once upon a time at the Marshall in NYC, I beat a 2200 NM (who was admittedly past his prime), just to lose in the next round to a rising, 1500-rated, 10-yr-old girl. It happens.

Love that you ended the video by embracing the grind to GM through this low point. Very motivating/inspiring for me personally. Keep going!

I get levi. I also felt the same when i was gonna cross 2000 elo. I didn't see simple tactics and ideas. So when i was on YouTube i got recommended 10 best sacrifices by levy. After watching it i felt so energetic i just kicked ass and got to 2000.

Hey Levy, just want to say, I know practically nothing about chess but every time a road to GM video comes up on my youtube feed its the highlight of my day. Watching you through this journey is an absolute honor and a privilege. I know this is a hard tournament for you but its just so cool to watch someone willing to share both their triumphs and their struggles. Obviously you are under no obligation to share this journey with us and I doubt me saying this will affect anything but I just really appreciate you sharing this. Its an inspiration for us all. Thank you.

6:30 I found this move as a 1100, not because i can see how clever it is, but because i know how insane Stockfish is and that move lookes insane enough for Stockfish, never change Chess

I like the positivity and determination at the very end. Good luck turning things around Levy.
