2021 Yamaha WR450F Dyno Test

Yamaha’s 450cc enduro model was granted several engine updates for 2021. How much power does it make on the Dirt Rider dyno?

only 4hp less that the yz450 while meeting emissions and a very quiet muffler. pretty impressive

Would have been nice to use the PowerTuner to upgrade the timing with Premium gaz to see how more power you can get. I remove all the restriction on my WR450F 2021 and I give 4 deg more on timing (maximum allow by the app) and i can clearly feel the difference by switching from original map to upgraded map. This bike can give more simply by using the PowerTuner.

Whats the horsepower/torque after the bike is fully uncorked, full exhaust and aftermarket ecu?

Why do they have to make the street legal version slow. I don't understand why they always have to water down the better version. This would be like an all-around all terrain street legal bike but they water it down. It's sad

Is this test in stock form with epa restrictions? What does it take to un cork these new models. Love to check out new wr450 but dealers in Vegas said they don't know when or if they won't get any . I'm a die hard Yamaha fan I have a 14 wr450 with over 350 hrs
