Hey Kev, you went to my school in the spring to share your story, and my school was Brainerd High School in Brainerd Minnesota. Your story was life changing, and it was really hard for me to listen because i've had suicide attempts because of racism, being bullied, depression and cyberbullying, and your story helped me so much. i am doing better and i got into working out and eating healthier and having a fun lifestyle with mountain biking and spending time with family. thank you so much for coming to my school and your story really helped me.
thank you kevin.

Never been able to figure out why our culture and society wants to identify people as their conditions 🤔 It's built into our colloquialisms eg "he's bipolar" or "Sorry, I'm a little OCD." But grammatically, aren't expressions like those as incorrect and awkward as saying things like "I am heat" or "I am hunger"? People definitely don't say things like "I am COVID-19" or "I am colon cancer", so... 🤔🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

I also have bipolar type 1 disorder. I’m curious if you’re taking medication. I’m on olanzapine and Depakote. I’m a big believer in there’s no shame in the med game. Just as a person puts a cast on a broken arm, I take medication. Except, I take medication even when I feel like I don’t need it.
