There are 12 keys in western music, thousands of note combinations composing music, millions of musicians in the world, billions of galaxies in space ....

But there will only ever be ONE Tim Pierce!

Your videos are a joy. The facial expressions just completely compliment the points you are making.

I get so much knowledge from your videos Tim! I’ve signed up for your master class about 3 weeks ago. I’ve already created a few jam songs in my DAW and am applying your concepts as I’ve absorbed (a fraction) of your videos. I can’t believe how much I’ve grown. You have made me stretch in ways that hurt, but in a great way! I also bought my first PRS recently (McCarty 594) and am loving loving loving it! I kid with my wife and have nicknamed you Dr. Dad hahaha. I told her, “he’s a surgeon with the guitar, but teaches in a way that’s like a father showing his child in a loving way!” So, from me to you Tim...THANKS! Dr. Dad!!

You are so humble and so supremely talented! The part about the Diminished Chord was priceless! Truth from a Master of his craft! Thank You!

Ever since I've found Tim on YouTube, I recommend him to anyone looking to learn the guitar. He's a great teacher and breaks everything down for even beginners. Appreciate you, Tim. Keep up the great videos.

The title of this video completely hides how awesome this solo is. Really melodic and lovely, thanks Tim!

It's Quarter til 3 A.M. coming home from a gig South East of Chicago.... Listened to this on the way home and I'm realizing how much your videos are starting to have an effect on my soloing. I'm very much a funk/rock/pop player and since I'm the lead singer, I usually concentrate on the rhythms and solos end up being tidy, planned affairs. Now I'm extending more of the end solos because I'm hearing melodic content over the chord changes. Thank you for all the information you share with us part-time gigging musicians.

. 73 Tortex as well Tim. You my man are a legend. I'm so happy you're generosity and love of guitar translate into giving many of us golden nuggets of Mojo with every video you do. Merci from Canada.

Thanks Tim - I'm sitting here at 57 wishing I had got stuck 50 years ago. Just watched the behind the scenes at the Grammies in amazement. Such incredible talents largely unrecognised. (Was lucky enough to meet VInnie when he was out here with Sting in the 90's (Cape Town South Africa). So - undaunted I am signing up for the Master Class - here goes ... you deserve every contribution for your dedication to the craft! (Nice curtains)

I liked it. It has that "yacht rock" LA feel to it. Reminds me of something like _Love Will Find A Way_ by Pablo Cruise.

Opening lick.... Larry Carlton-esque, tasty, restrained, with landing notes and delightful stops...avoiding the lure of "over-filling" ...pleasant and creative

I’ve noted this on several of Tim’s posts, but I used to hear Tim play at church dances when he was still a teenager living in Albuquerque and playing with a cover band. (I found out recently that the drummer in that group was Bobby Unser, Jr. of the famous Unser racing family, something I didn’t know BITD). I have very good memories of those times, and Tim’s subsequent career as an LA session player came as no surprise to me.
