I got the $2 per month and I used the VPN on all my devices and really liked it. Now I'm not sure if I will keep the service.

Google one VPN has no use case as you can't bounce your location, so what Google is doing, doesn't cut for me at all

Google should give the 100 GB tier something extra now that they took away the free photos postage and VPN. 20 Magic Editor edits and "circle to search" would be welcome.

I really liked the VPN when I was just doing normal daily activities. I have a more secure VPN if privacy is something I care about at that time. I will miss the Google VPN due to ease of use.

Here in the UK, the premium Google One option has Fitbit Premium and Nest Aware included. I'd trade the VPN for that any day, and I expect other countries to get it at some point.

I have Google 1, the 200GB plan. I didn't know it had a VPN, I just thought it was cloud storage.

It's a bummer and a classic for Google to change things last minute, not to mention the condition of living with bugs etc... I personally use VPN feature on different devices soon I won't be able to which is unfortunate

Luckily due to the recent system update the VPN will be built in the settings if you go onto the Network & internet section (might have to wait for an update in Google play also)

I have the 100gb plan really for the storage but the exclusive features were a nice perk. Ive used the VPN once or twice while out and its better to have it than not. Even though it wasnt been used often it was there, with so many features being removed they need to update the pricing or add new features.

I have the 2tb subscription and do use vpn. As you know, i have an iPhone 15pm, and do use it on that too.

I was using Google VPN on my Samsung Galaxy S22+, now no longer available, just found this out today, however in my Pixel 8 Pro, the feature remains. In addition, for those of us using Google Stack, that will be dying on 9/23/2024, quite a bummer for me because I use this a lot.

I've got a subscription and I used the VPN a bit but stopped because you couldn't change your location. What I did like was you could select which apps would bypass the VPN. I'm not sure ultimately if I would miss the VPN.

I use Google 1 and share storage with my family to keep photos. VPN was a major sell point for us. I'll see if we can transfer our data to another storage service that provides better benefits.

I have G1 and wasn't even made aware of VPN, just set it up for what it's worth. Hopefully will get a few months use at least.

I have the 2 euro subscription, specifically for photo storage. So none of these things I see as loses even though the 2 euro subscription lost value while the expansive option gained value. I guess I have my own user statistics to blame as google saw a way to allocate funds to where it maximizes growth potential.

What does Google advertise Google one as storage but you can't use it to store apps !! Even if it's just online!!!
