The Indian Red Scorpion is considered the most lethal of all scorpions. But despite its reputation, it only stings as a last resort. Shunning human contact, it prefers to feast on insects, like roaches.

The smaller scorpions are, the more lethal their sting is. The largest living scorpion, Heterometrus swammerdami, uses its giant pincers to crush its prey, but rarely uses its sting.

When I was in Italy🇮🇹, I saw lots of scorpions. I went outside my family's farmhouse with a blacklight one night, I saw them glow and crawling all around the farm yard.

I was researching the Indian Red Scorpion and then it said they could be found in Sri Lanka. Yeah, I am off to Antarctica with the rest of the people who commented on going to Antarctica.

@KafshakTashtak I refer to use prolonged periods of teasing that create severe depression in the scorpion. This tactic has the same suicidal results and is much safer then setting fires. It also can be used on all types of arachnids.

Well the small animals can't rely on their muscles to defend themselves so naturally they have other solutions to this problem, like being highly poisonous. Bigger animals can overpower their pray so they don't need powerful poison in their stingers.
